You may not be aware, but normally these are late because I’ve been battling the posting system. It hasn’t been me that has been late posting these upcoming event emails and getting them out to all of our members – it has been the system. Well, not this week. It’s totally me. I’ll blame it on Halloween. Halloween is almost here and I’ve been busy this week trying to cram in as many festive harvest-y events as I could since this month completely got away from me! I can’t believe this weekend begins November! Here is what we’ve got on our calendar this week:

Tuesday:

11:00AM- 12:00PM: Fingerpaint and Snacks at Learning Express

Wednesday:

10:30AM – 11:15AM: Open Gym time at Acro-Fit

Thursday:

11:00AM – 12:00PM: Halloween Storytime at Learning Express

Friday:

Happy Halloween!!

Saturday:

6:30PM – 8:30PM: Open Gym time at Lakewood Ranch Gymnastics

Hi everyone!

The BooFest parade is coming uphup Friday night and we are walking in the parade as a group! Any members, kids and families who are interested in walking with us, please come out! We have been asked to be lined up near Olaf’s Creamery by 5:30.

Parking is horrific during this event so a few members have discussed meeting extra early at La Trattoria for pizza at 4:30. That should ease the parking issue and the “mom, I’m hungry” troubles that will no doubt start right when the parade begins.

We have another busy week ahead of us! Lots to do with the kids…and with just us moms:

Tuesday

9:30-10:30AM – Fun to Be Fit class just for us. Adrianne mentioned that this will be a Halloween class and the kids can dress up if they like and bring a treat to share for trick or treating at the end of the class. Unfortunately, I was bad about getting this info out in time. If we all forget, don’t worry! We will have coffee, juice and munchkin donuts on hand for a little “party” afterwards! Fun to be fit is $6/family.

Wednesday

9:30-10:15AM – AcroFit is open for some indoor free play with your child. $5 per child/ cash only.

7:00-9:00PM –Monthly Meeting at Appolonia. John Freeman, from Raymond James, will be discussing college planning. Drinks and heavy appetizers will be provided. Please RSVP by Tuesday so I can give him a proper head count. Thanks!

9:45-11:00AM – Ringling Bridge Walk – meet at Bird Key and walk/stroll with or without kids across the bridge.

8:00AM-1:00PM – Community Garage Sale

10:00AM – 12:00AM – Kid’s Club at Michael’s: Fun Frankenstein mask making AND free face painting. $2.00/child

4:00PM-6:00PM – Our Halloween Party is finally here! Enjoy cookie decorating, dress-up make believe station, crafts, bounce house, snacks and more! This event is free.
